I could care less. I only care about my opinion right now. Until I see a compaq that actually makes me happy, I'll stick with eMachines

Ok, are you gonna upgrade your processer to a 2800+, 3000+, or 3200+?

i've tried a compaq, they do work, just don't download a load of stuff on your comp or youll get a virus
It's like that on all PCs running XP.
Yeah, all comps are the same.

I hate my PC, my parents are lucky, they got to buy the new DELL computer and it runs like butter, you can go online in seconds and it takes my computer minutes

I've got a mac, and it takes less than a second to go anywhere. My case closed.

Not really... You should at least back up your opinion. Apple's hardware is good, especially for Linux. I've used it, and compared, so I know. Plus, Microsoft doesn't make PCs. MicroSOFT, meaning software. Plus, you're bashing OS 9. Get on OS X and we'll talk.

I'm trying to convine my dad to get an iBook for burning his music and stuff instead of a pc because he wants a laptop that he can take to work with him and the iBook I'm recommending him is cheaper than any good PC laptop.

I would actually recommend a laptop as long as he doesn't drop things all the time.

my old comp took like 3 minutes to boot up completely (BIOS, Boot SCreen, Desktop)
Sometimes longer.

my new comp boots way faster, the BIOS is way faster, and Windows loads in a minute. My brother's gonna stay w/ my old one ;) Poor him. :D

I don't think it should matter how much time it takes to boot up

If you're impatient it matters a lot... take me for instance...
