Didn't the network change its name back to just G4 recently?  I heard something about that a while ago.... and Tommy Tallarico is a moron.  Just needed to mention that (again).

I don't think they viewed TechTV as "competition", just as a network that got into a lot more homes than G4 did.  So they bought the network to expand their viewing audience.
