Topic: I Don't Get Invader Zim

It May be violence, it may opinions, it may be that old space alien charm, but I just don't get why people like invader Zim.    

It's not really funny, and it doesn't have good endings.    

If You DO like it  Buy the DVDs for the complete series.  

I don't think it's lame(I might want to see a few episodes) I just Don't get it.

It is funny, you just have to have that humor. I'm not into space aliens or any of the other comics, but its a cool show.

You probably have to have an understanding stupidiness to understand the humor on Invader Zim.  Some people's humor tuned out on Invader Zim (like Nick exces for example) after September 11 because some people didn't want to see a very destructive alien trying to take over the world.  I mean come on you still laugh at Pinky & the Brain and they tried to take over the world.  Yes, GIR is very funny idiot who already understands this world we live in. :biggrin:

The show is comlplicated who don't get Jhonrn's dark work becuase he does dark stuff like Johnny the Homicidal Maniac,Squee! & I feel Sick!Gir & Zim is what makes it the best thoe.

I do have the entire series on DVD to & the have the action figures.

1) you have to have some logic to understand ZIM (seriously)
2) It's Jhonen, Not Johnen
3) The entire series isn't available on DVD, we're still awaiting the last disc filled with the unfinished episodes.
4) ZIM wasn't canceled for it's violence or it's sick humour, it was canceled because NICK simply suck and didn't want to put more money into making it...since ZIM had a different (and more expencive) way of animation.
Ask me anything about ZIM, since Im the one who's always talking about it.

I like Invader Zim.  I watch it on Nicktoons TV.  Other than the DVD's, that's now the only place you can watch it.  It is an amazingly funny show, you just need the right kind of hummor to apreciate the scariness of "The Room With the Moose".  Some people *cough*likemymom*uncough* don't appreciate that kind of hummor.  Some of those people probably don't like Napolean Dynamite either.  Anyway, it all depends on what you like to demerine wether you think it's a good show or not.  I hope my post made sense.  You know this is probably the longest post I've ever made repling to a topic that I didn't start.  Oh, well.
