I do not think the jokes are hard to understand.
Spongebob and Invader zim are tied for first in the best shows on nick.

Well whatever the real reason why Nick cancelled IZ, we know that it was taken off the air. I liked IZ I just wished it would come back.

The real reason is that Invader Zim isn't a kids show, And nick doesn't want any cool shows on its network.

Good news is, NICK got none of the profit made from the DVDs! Yay!
Bad news is, NICK still owns the rights to ZIM and won't let anyone re-make it....unless they did it NICK's way.
Which would suck.
If I get rich enough Im gonna try and buy the rights to ZIM, so I can make it again.

How many units of Zim DVDs have sold already and who gets the profits?
Oh and the reason why Zim is cancelled is because creator just wanted to give up on animation for kids. :sad:   Oh well the only thing is that Zim will live on in our minds and the DVDs.

Who got all the DVD profits? I think it all went to mediablasters...though I recon Jhonen got a heave of it.

check out the last few episodes of ZIM, they where when NICK started to gain more control of the show.
And they where horrible.
Although The Frycook episode was pretty good, it was still very weird....and NICK cut out the episode minimoose appeared in...yet they showed the x-mas special and he was just there...NICK messed up ZIM big time...and if they made it again it would be awful.

tho i was talking ot the guy at the comic store, and he reckoned it would probably be a sqee series, as i realy cant imagine jthm being on air. i think i would have nightmares  :biggrin:

I recon Jhonen should make JTHM into a movie, not a live action one, just an animated movie.

As for a series, Jhonen is working on a new one right now...but we don't know what it's about yet though...
Images so far show a little alien thing and a teenager who looks very much like DIB from Invader ZIM....maybe he has his own series now?

I'm sorry. I found this thread on google, and even though this thread is likely inactive, I decided to register just to reply to this.

Nick has never made any statements confirming hatred for Zim or the DVD sales. Nick owns the rights to Zim, therefore.. yes, they're making the biggest cut from the DVDs. I highly doubt they're complaining.

And I'm not sure what DVD's you bought, all of mine include the Nickelodeon logo.
