punk:  a person who is openly against main stream culture.  derived from punk rock, which was made of musicians who typically lacked most musical talent.

thats all i remember from my research paper on punks.  i garuntee your not punk melly if ur on here.

true, i'm not a full-on punk, but somewhat rebellious and somewhat against "mainstream culture"
