One day SpongeBob and Patrick were running along to Sandy's house...
"Ow!" shouted SpongeBob "Who did that?"
"Did what?" asked Patrick
"Pinched me! Who pinched me?"
Suddenly Sandy emerged from some near by bushes.
"I did." said Sandy
"Why did you do that?" asked SpongeBob
"Cause it's St. Patrick's Day and ya'll aren't wearin' green. Duh" replied Sandy
"But my birthday was last month." said Patrick
"No silly" said Sandy "St. Patrick's Day is a holiday when ya'll wear green. It's some Irish tradition."
"Why do you wear green?" asked SpongeBob
"I don't really know, but I think it's got somethin' to do with them ol' leprechauns." answered Sandy
"Lepre who?" asked Patrick
"Leprechauns." said Sandy "Mean little men that wear green and make shoes."
" So what do Leprechauns do?" asked SpongeBob
"Well, it's said that if you find a Leprechaun, you get 'is gold." said Sandy
"Why? Is he the guy you give winning lottery ticketts to?" asked Patrick
"No stupid" said Sandy "because leprechauns are like faries, only Irish. No stop asking questions."
"Okay, come on Patrick, I think I see a rainbow." said SpongeBob.
