Well, I guess since I'm the villain in this whole ordeal, I guess I have to say something.

I only was doing what I felt was right.  I'm truly sorry if I've made anybody upset with my actions, but I wasn't trying to be power hungry, I wasn't trying to personally upset anyone, and I'm not trying to be this big, evil moderator in any way, shape or form.  I only did what I felt was right.  And I know I've made quite a few people POed, but I can assure you this wasn't my intention.  Once again, I apologize that I have made so many people upset.

Maybe if everyone learns how to spell the word THREADS right, they won't get closed. Just a thought.

Locking those threads about the pope was wrong.  Ban the flammers, but don't ruin the thread by locking it.  I started another pope thread because of it.  Those were useful and important threads.

maybe you should just let us figure out what threads should close.
unless its the "we love drugs and peodophila" thread, there really is no reason why you cant jsut let us decide whether or not to participate in a thread.
its dictatorship, so stop it
who is gonna keep coming here when they cant say what they want??

You can say what you want, but if you only wanna say useless stuff, it's spam, and no one's gonna care.

And it's not a dictatorship, we need staff so everything won't get out of control. If they had let some of those threads open, they'd be filled with spam, and no one likes spam. (Yet everyone likes Spam-MY. How ironic)

Hmm... we're just gonna let everyone roam free? You can be your own boss, and everyone will destroy everything. You must set limits.

It's kinda like this one board, called iAdmin. It was a place where everyone was an admin. Right when you joined, you became an admin. Well, in about the first 3 minutes while one of the members was an admin, he just deleted the board.

It's kinda like that, except everyone's a member and there's no staff to control anything. The board won't literally get deleted, but it will definitely get destroyed.

More BS...

Anyway, I already said why we close threads in a nut-shell. You guys need to read more. Not post junk. If you guys like junk topics make a forum for it. It doesnt happen here. Period.

There IS a need to close threads, but not the amount that was closed yesterday. It was going a BIT too far.

Honestly, I wasnt on here until after it was done. I was gone all day yesterday, but I will say this: we chose new mods because of the need for change. You huys wanted change and wanted "actual" conversation. Thats what we're trying to give you. Closing threads is part of the change...

I think this "change" thing is fine.  As long as there's an actual conversation, it's good.  Besides, if you wanna talk random, go to the chat with someone and just talk there and don't waste up the forums here.  I think it's very important to have admins here along with mods.  That's all I've got to say.
