Sex makes me want to vomit all over the place...it seems so wrong...which is why I dropped PSHCE as a subject in school.
People can do it all they want, as long as they don't try and make me...otherwise they may find something is missing in their life.

How does the Catholic religion go against the bible? That's the first question I want you or anyone else who agrees to answer. And where did you get the idea of Baptism and praying for as long as you please "man-made"? Did Jesus not pray every day for as long as he wanted? Did he not baptise his followers? Have you ever been to a Catholic church or actually studied what they believed (good enough) before you bickered senselessly about them? Either find a book about the Catholic religion or read the Bible for once before you meaningly or not offend other people.

To answer the question of this thread, I'm straight.

^ I think what she means is that you don't have to do those things to maintain salvation. Some people, like MSP, would have us think that you must do certain things at certain times. If you want to pray ten times a day, then do it, but don't say that it is a must for all Christians.

Of course I could be totally off.

Sort of what I was saying. (I was mainly defending my religion and beliefs XP)

Like what you just said, do whatever you believe and get on with the kind of life you want to live. Simple as that.

And may I add, don't blindly criticize anyone else and their beliefs.

You threw me off when you said MSP, is that abbreviated for something? That would help. Being a Catholic, I understand that so many people dislike it, because it happens a lot at my school, so I have to confront them myself and answer their criticism. I just hate the fact people say things bad about it, but at the same time know nothing about it.

I read over some posts from MSP and realized they were Catholic too, so that helps on what some are saying about/to them.

I'm turned off because I went to a catholic school. It has nothing to do with MSP. My family is catholic. And, yes E-Rose is correct. You dont need to do any of that to recieve salvation. They do pray A lot of "hail Marys" to recieve forgiveness. Which is not whats it the Bible at all. What I meant was, that is like praying like a robot. You're saying the same thing over and over in hopes to be forgiven. Pray as much as you want! I know people that have prayed for hours a day. I pray for a good 10-15 minutes a day. I've been Baptised twice. All that means is I'm publicly letting everyone know that I've come to Christ though Faith. It has nothing to do with actually taking that step to come through faith. Anyway, I'm done with this thread. I'm not going ot argue with anyone. It isnt worth it...

Well I understand what you mean now. All I can ask is for you to be more elaborate in a post like the one I quoted earlier. Just saying Catholocism is "screwy" doesn't give me a reason why not to think you're just saying it out of ignorance. But like you said, arguing isn't worth it, so I'll do the same.

Anyways as for me I guess you could say Im a confused teenager when it comes to this. I prefere females over males, but not always. I guess Im at that experimental stage.
