Moved to DVI.
« on: August 07, 2005, 06:15:32 pm »
I just moved from VGA to DVI on my AMD Athlon 64 box. The picture is so much clearer and has higher quality. The monitor is an 8ms 17" LCD and the video card is an NVIDIA Geforce FX5200 DDR 128MB.

I notice less eye pain from eye strain with a LCD than I had with a CRT.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

Same here.  My eyes used to hurt a lot when I had a CRT.  With my LCD, they never hurt.

I've used my Dad's LCD and my CRT, and I don't notice any difference.

LCD are awesome much better than CRT, if your looking for a monitor get a LCD. CRT's are old fashined, plus in the future people won't use CRT's. If you're short on space get a LCD.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

I absolutely love my CRT.  Well, not mine, I'm borrowing it from Winbindd.  I personally prefer it to most LCDs I've seen.  However, I'm going with a 20" LCD for college.  Anywho, DVI is good stuff.
Check out my website, www.spongezone.net... oh, nevermind

I find LCD's are for lazy people who arent willing to carry or move a few extra pounds.

I still have that crappy flash, "Dont get an LCD" ugggh I really need to make a remake of it.
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others
