Yes, I am stupid. I accepted some virus thing that automaticly sends itself when other people accept it. So if you know it, do you know how to get rid of it?
This is for me...

Use your spyware/virus programs
Go to your AIM preferences and change the "file sharing" and "file transfer"

Stop using aim and use a different IM program like trillian or gaim.
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others

That won't work. I've unloaded AIM, MSN, Yahoo...all to no avail...I've still got the virus, and my genius computer programming brother has gone through all the virus scans he knows of, and I'm still reformatting tomorrow.

Is that the virus that gives it to everyone on the person who got infected on their buddy list or something? I really don't know that much about how to stop them. But the AIM warning is for a reason. Never except files unless you REALLY trust the person.

It gives you a link to some vBulettin link (no, not vBulletin), saying "is this your profile?" and it gives you a file to download. I think it's called "unknown.pif" or something. Tom tried sending it to me, but I was smart enough not to accept a file from Tom, let alone something with that file name.
