Yea...Now dayz, people are too politically correct to lay the smack down on their kid, when they act up.  That'z the whole reazon most kidz in thiz generation act the way they do, cuz they werent taught discipline.  if me or any of my brotherz did sumthin, we got the ::Dolphin Noise:: beaten out of us...no questionz asked.  parentz need to be the same way they were before...so thiz kinda thing dont happen.  i guarantee thiz gurl rarely if ever got punished growin up.

I believe that is a case of abusing you're position as a law officer. Some cops become big headed buttholes when they receive their badge. I think think this is what happened. NO child should be tazered. No matter WHAT they did. I've acted that way in Elementary school and I was NEVER treated like that. I'd sue for all they got and I'm not sue happy, either. If teachers cant keep a paddle next to their chair no officer should be allowed to send 50K volts to a child. 12 year olds still buy happy meals for crying out loud! As for discipline? Dont BEAT a child, but a little smack on the butt should do it. Which is legal. I think these issues start at home and manifest in school. Mommy and Daddy are too busy working to live the high life than to make sure their kids grow up correctly. Parents need to spend time with their kids. Not shuffling them off to soccer practice on Thursday and baseball on Tuesday. Kids dont need a busier schedule than their mom and dad, they NEED parents. I think these problems can be avoided or at least tamed. Kids go home and sit in frot of PS2 and never leave the house because mom and dad arent home. I think parents need to quit worrying about having expensive things and go-carts for the kids and be parents. Why am I ranting? Because the school has to make up for it. I can tell you. These things start out in the home. I think that cop should be suspended for doing this. The guy runs things like  "Woooooo! Look at me with my big shiny gun and badge! I can control you!". Tazers are used for violent criminals not disobedient children....

Yes. That's actually what it says directly out of my Elementary Ed book. "Either dicipline them or tell them that you will not dicipline them because you are too lazy. If you choose dicipline, be ready with a set of standards for the dicipline"

Isn't anything...once again, I don't agree with what the cop did, but he was called in to do his job. There is no rule about age so he did what he wanted to do.

On a side note, I think that because of all of the junk with money, jobs, and other nonsense, more kids will grow up with parents that have less money. This will, in turn, lead to kids that aren't little ::Dolphin Noise::s that get whatever they want.
