I'm getting a mac min and wondering is the extra ram upgrade worth the $300?

I doubt you'll need 2 GB of RAM.

microsoft has been making software for the mac for a very long time. usualy a porting house will convert and publish the game on a mac.

however, the majority of games are made for the pc first, and the ones built around directx are harder and more expensive to port to the mac. if you are gaming ,stick with windows.

Don't get a mini if you want to game.  Anyway, it's not worth the $300 for the upgrade.  You're far better off just buying some ram afterwards off Newegg and switching it in, though you will have to open up your mini to do it.  You can get 2gb of decent ram for ~$150.
