I like the book.  Pretty soon, their won't be a book that hasn't been made into a movie.

Sigh...

"Harry Potter and the book that will never be made into a movie" will suck so badly, they wont make it a movie...

You mean for school?  Because I never read it for school, I used the ole' classic "pick it up from the local library or bookstore and read it for your own pleasure and enternainment".  You shouldn't read the books only because school's make you.  And Gary Paulsen is a good writer, except, if I'm thinking about the right author, most of his books are about somebody surviving in the wild.

You should do that.  Reading betters the mind.

I loved The Giver.

I read that in 7th grade. Such a long time ago! It was a very book. I also liked its "companion" book (it was by the same author), Gathering Blue.

Gary Paulsen isn't boring.  It's just that he needs to get a few more topics on his mind than survival in the wilderness once in a while.

heh, i thought it was a great book. i saw through it early on though. i had finished it well before the rest of the rest of the class. I hope the movie rumor is true, it would be a remarkable film, although i remember hearing about this film rumor when i was in the 6th grade, that was 7 or 8 years ago :p
