Anyone else watched it? I think its the best anime film I have ever seen!
It was made in the 1980's and it has better animation than any of the recent Miyazake films, plus, the japanese voice actors are fantastic!

I give it 10/10!!!!

yup yup, akira iz a real good anime movie.  my brother has practically every anime movie and show worth watching.

Mine was when Tetsuo was fighting with Kaneda.

lol, my favorite iz when tetsuo escapes from experimentation and goes all crazy in the city...hahah, revenge iz nice.  i do like the fight with kaneda though.

I am getting it for my 17th Birthday from my sister. She knows how much I love the film...she said the manga looks and sounds better.
I want Kaneda's bike...it's so awsome!

I heard that Kaori's death in the manga is alot better and shows Tetsuo still has some good in him....the movie had a pretty gory death for Kaori...but the movie was still well animated, it ran so smoothly!

If you're B or C, I don't blame you for not knowing. But usually, teenagers that are Japanese are quite fond of Akira. You should be closer to your culture.

That being said, I love Akira!
