Depends on if your are religious or not.

In my opinion, There are 2 ways to celebrate it. The way with Jesus and the Nativity, and the Way with the Tree, and Santa. My family does it both ways. But there is a non religious side.

It is religious however it can be celebrated by those whom are not religious.

Wasn't the debate about people wanting to ban the public saying of "Merry Christmas" to be replaced with "Happy Holidays?"

Not really. But that is a good one to debate about. Merry Christmas all the way!

I've never heard of a Christmas without a tree and Santa. Must be something really, really conservative evangelical Christians do.

But Christmas as it is celebrated now isn't religious.

It's not religious at all.

Mostly because of commercial advertising...

Partially because of the fact that Jesus may have not been born on the 25th of December, but on April 18th.

And also because if Christmas was about religion and stuff like that, there would be no presents.

I dont get why people just can't say 'happy holdays' themselves without making it banned. If you dont want to say it, don't say it. Mofos

The day of the year that christmas is, is older than christianity. Christians apropriated it a long while after christ was born. Is christmas christian? Mostly. Was it always? No. Is it overly comercialized? Definately.

That's probably the best description of Christmas yet. ty  -_-

Timmy: It's official, this guy sucks. I wish he was somewhere else!

Timmy: Where'd you guys poof him to?
*Both fairies give evil smiles*
April Fool: I never asked for this!
Jorgen: Shut up, or I'll have Chuck Norris roundhouse kick you in the face again!
