No he's not a religious figure. If he was, I would of heard about him in church.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

No. If people say he should be banned, they're stupid. He's a fat guy who drops presents in houses big whoop. Nothing religous there, next they're gonna say we should ban Jesus & God.

I say no, Santa shouldn't be banned. We all know he isn't real by the time we're like 6 or 7, and even though Santa is becoming more and more commercialized, the whole naughty or nice thing helps incourage young children to be good. Whoever wants to get rid of Santa is idiotic.

Nope. .I don't see priests talking about him in my church. About the banned idea. I disagree. To most little children around 5 or 6, he is what makes Christmas worth waiting for.

And you just hit the nail on the head. That's why the church wants to get rid of santa.

They'd rather you get rid of santa. They don't wanna see the holiday called Santamas, as some politician said the other day (he actually called it that!).

Sorta, he's based from a real person, Saint Nicholas. He wore the trademark red hat and gave presents to good children.

Er, something like that.

People are morons. They tried to stop a fiction novel from being made into a movie, and now they're trying to get rid of a holiday icon that's been around forever?
