Now I'm no expert on anything about this, but I do remember reading about it.

The dispute is not over whether or not it can be orbiting the sun, but rather it's size. That's the whole issue over whether or not it can be a planet. What is that smallest an object can be and still be called a planet? I'm pretty sure that 'Planet X' IS within orbit to the sun, but I'm pretty sure it ISN'T another planet. If I remember correctly, it may be a large chunk of rock, or even a moon of Pluto.

That's impossible.  It's orbit couldn't be that big because the Sun wouldn't be able to hold it.

The nearest Galaxy (which would hold the nearest star) is Andromeda.  This galaxy is so far our telescopes aren't powerful enough to see details like planets.  Our satellites also haven't traveled far enough to even get near to it.

There isn't a 10th planet in our solar stystem.  There aren't any solar systems nearby in which we could see any planets.
One glaring error there.  There are millions of stars within the Milky Way, not just the sun.  Many of these other stars have solar systems containing planets.

"Planet X" is not a star, it is within the solar system.  Doombringer is right, the debate is over whether it could be considered a planet.  I doubt it is another moon of Pluto, it would have been visible then.  It may just be a dense cloud of material out there, by that place with the comets (Its been a while since I read about this stuff, I forgot a lot of it).

Theres also a debate if Pluto is a planet or not. NASA and other Astronomical Groups say 'yes'. But certain museums and religious groups say 'no'.

Um, I'd disregard what the religious groups say on the matter.

Religious groups shouldn't be talking about science.  Most astronomers agree that Pluto is a planet.

It took over 350 years for the Roman Catholic Church to approve that the earth revolves around that sun.

They don't have to approve anything. They either believe it or they don't. Scientists are the ones who would 'approve' this, if anyone.

Well I did some research so I could officially prove all of you "Planet-X" believers wrong and luckily I found some.

Here.

The website is Bad Astronomy.  Owned by an acclaimed astronomer who proves space urban legends wrong.  If you still believe in your precious Planet-X after reading that site then you're (in my nicest and most sincere words) a complete and total moronic idiot.

If you're lazy or have a low reading level then I'll give you a quick snynopsis of what it all says:  There is no Planet X.

I can't even comprehend how all these people believe in this asinine story.

Edit:  In case you're wondering, asinine is not a curse word.

Planet X isn't a proper noun, its just a generic word for an unknown 10th planet.  I did a little research today since there's no school.  Excellent site with lots of info.  What was thought to be a Planet X turned out to be an asteroid belt outside of Neptune's orbit.

Planet Shmanet, one "acclaimed" astronomer doesn't make a theory true or false.

Yes, but one acclaimed scientist with resources, exstensive study and knowledge does.

So I took a look at the link you gave and it didn't really do much.  Like you said, it only said "Planet X" was just an asteriod belt.

Once again, there is no tenth planet in our solar system.

I realize that.  Some people on this board still think they're is a 10th planet.

Some people on this board are also under the age of 12.

And some people on this board are older but still way too stupid for their age. Or should I say too stupid for three years younger than their age
