It used to be that they could actually get so-called "stars" to guest star in episodes of Nick shows. Now they have to resort to their own untalented "celebrities".

It's called promoting your other shows. Not all that bad, really... CBS did this with their Monday night stable of comedies a few years back. It's just a clever way of promoting a show without having to pay all that much money.
