Who will be the next Holy Father
« on: April 06, 2005, 08:03:29 pm »
I was worring 2 years ago; thinking "Watch them elect some real liberal pope!"  This Pope was conservative and traditional.  They played one the news some Preist sayng, "The next Pope will give more say to the layity, let Preists marry, and let there be women preists."  Just the the thought of these horrible things make me cringe.  But then I thought, it's just crap news.  Of course if some left-wing preist is preeching this, they will show it on the news because it's news.  But it definitly does not mean it's gonna happen.  What we are dealing with here is Bugs Bunny philosophy.  They want us to cringe.  You've all seen the Bugs Bunny and loony toon cartoons.  I'll bet youse all remember seeing that tasmanian devil swirling like a tornado on those Bugs Bunny cartoons on Saterday mornings.  Remember now, ever time Elmer Fudd saw Bugs Bunny, Bugs would get him.  He blow Elmer's gun up into his face.  He'd slam him into a door.  What the liberals want us to do is go: "OOOOOO!  Those waskaly wiberals!!!"  And get all mad.  Or be a Yosemite Sam.  But His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, never was an Elmer Fudd to these Bugs Bunny Liberals.  He always stood his ground strong on all his conservativism.  A good candinate is German Cardinal Ratzinger, he is a flamming conservative.  God, I'd be partying if he got elected pope.  He is 77.  Another good candidate would be this Nagerian Cardinal.  He is real conservative.  The majority of the candidates are conservative, because all of the teachings of The Church are the exact opposite of liberal teachings.  Or this Italian Cardial from Latin America.  The Holy Spirit intervenes in the election for Pope, that is a Church teaching.  So we know it will be someone very conservative.

We could have a liberal or moderate pope for our next pope. Most of the time a pope is replaced by someone really different.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.

The chances of that are about the same as the Pirates winning the world series on the same day that Hitler comes back from the dead and stars in a highly rated children's TV show.

Anyway, apparently there is a good chance of the new Pope being someone from a continent other than Europe.

A Mexican pope would be interesting to see... heck John Paul 2 was the first non-Italian pope in over hundreds of years!

Actually what we need is a Scandinavian pope. Hehe

I think whatever the cardinals vote on, that's who's going to take over.

Women Preists has already been infailibly determined by The Holy Father.  All the good this man did, and some American people are saying his moralities are wrong.  He t the only one who said it:  IT IS THE CHURCH'S TEACHINGS.  The Catholic Church will never change for you, you have to change for it.  Today was the Pope's funeral I stood up until 3 to watch it.

I don't think you need to need to stay up that late during a school night? I just taped it when I was sleeping, and I watched it after school.

I know MSP, but I think God would probably look on this Earth and see that if non-Catholic made up half of the funeral attendance, then women can be priests.

Umm. Yes, if she wants to treat him like a little kid. Grown up kids dont need to be told. They usually go to bed when they are tired.

Yay for answers to questions nobody asked!

As long as the next pope can do his job and cause chaos when he dies, it's all good. I'm not into bringing politics into this decision.

It's sad the Pope died. He was a good man, but he was not infallible.
