Hello, fellow SpongeZoners.  The server admin is back again with some terrible news.  Due to your constant forum traversing, all of you have contributed to the fragmentation of data on the server, the overuse of processor cycles, and the small fire which consumed the computer for about half an hour yesterday.  I can see it now “What, I love SpongeZone; I would never do anything to hurt the things I love!”  Well, face it, you have, you are all terrible people.  By the way, the server will be down all day on next Sunday.  Shut down your computers, no, there is no use for it without the presence of SpongeZone.  Enjoy the time away from it.  Your parents will be happy.

Well, if its for improvemnet. Then, I'll ,ive. Get outside. Come back in 5 minutes lkater. Watch Star Wars. Go back outside. Take a shower. Do a homeowrk report that is due the next day, and I had 3 months to due....

Yes.  I like the added speed of Gentoo with similar stability to Debian.  This site will not benifit directly, but this server will soon have many other sites hosted on it.  (I need an income!) :p

Oh cool, I rather use Gentoo for a server than Debian anyways. Although, Gentoo was not a very good desktop for me.

Why did you have trouble with Gentoo as a desktop. I have had fine luck with it. What stage install did you do? 1, 2, or 3? KDE or Gnome?

I had stage 3 and it was mainly because my mouse would not move at all in X and I installed both with GDM login manager.
