Eh... the only real reason I'd get an Apple computer is to use GarageBand.

I'd only get one if I wanted to do some vid/aud editing. Which, I have decided, I will not do evar.

Would rather build my own system and get some cheese than pay for an apple.

Thats a crap program. Well, it might be good for you, but I have a song on soundclick that was done in garageband. It doesnt do a lot of stuff as easily as it would in reason or cubase or something.

Um. Yeah... It would actually be kind of strange if you've only had it for hours and already have problems...

Here's the specs of the Mac.

iMac G5
PowerPC G5 Processor @ 2GHz
512MB RAM
160GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon 9600 DDR 128MB
Wireless Internet, Keyboard, and Mouse.

Im assuming Chris's dad was so p'd with windows he took the comp and threw it through Chis's bedroom wall and told Chris to get him an easier Operating System

Just Kidding

Congrats on your dads new Mac.
There is no such thing as peace and there never will be. Peace is a delusion believed by the weak. Gandhi said : "An eye of an eye would leave the whole world blind". So be it because only a blind world can experience the peace that it deserves. But there in lay the sick irony. Who will be able to see this peace? The human species is at war. The enemy walks among us nearly invisible. Only those with true discernment can see them. But only one with discernment and vision can show them to others

Welcome to the Mac side I guess Chris. Now you see why I like Adium so much.

In order to make it through the world one needs some insanity.
