Did you read the source? I'm sure the kid would've told the cops if he was afraid or if his dad abused him, maybe thinking that they'd lessen the sentence. And either way, the kid still deserves death.

I'm with Kevin on this one. There must be some deep-seeded emotional reason for this to happen. I'm not trying to justify it, but there's something wrong for a kid to kill his father over grades.

There HAD to be a reason for him to do this.. maybe he knew his father would do something to hurt him. Maybe he's insane? Either way he probably did it out of good.. or he didnt know what he was doing.
