are topics ever deleted lke after a year or 2 or somthing or are they saved  forever. Also can we ask to have our topics deleted and will they be?

Actually, topics aren't deleted.  If you look back through all the pages, you'll find topics from a couple of years ago.

They aren't deleted. I've seen old topics from when I first joined which was a couple years ago.
