Rap
« on: April 01, 2007, 03:56:33 pm »
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I stopped listening to music for a while, but I just grabbed a torrent of a new Papoose album, and OH SNAP ITS SO GOOD.

I never thought I'd hear Bill Conti - The Final Bell remixed into a rap song GOOD. But he pulled it off. WoW.

Depending on how it is used, it is missing one of two letters..

There's a lot of good rap.

NWA, Eminem, Ice Cube, Kanye West, etc.

Anyone that hates rap....I usually tell em to watch R. Kelly - Trapped in the Closet just to get a good laugh so they can get into the stuff :)

Yea, I like the late 80's, early 90's rap that was actually about something.  NWA, Public Enemy, etc.

I like some rap.  Not that much, though.  Like Eminem and Fort Minor are good.

NWA, Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Run DMC, Cypress Hill, and 2Pac are among my favorite old-school rappers.

One of my favorite modern rappers is MF Doom...I love all of his stuff.

I'm goin the RATM concert in the summer and it's gonna have all kinda good artists there including, Wu-Tang clan, Ghostface, MF Doom, Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, NAS, The Roots, and Mos Def.  Oh snap son.

I'm not a fan, but I'm not going to say it sucks, because it's obviously an acquired taste.

i liked it before it started losing substance... now it just seems to be too focused on one's material riches rather than their life story.
