I want a DVD rom, but it was either a CD burner or a DVD rom. I choose the CD burner mainly so I could copy games, and music CDs from friends so I wouldn't have to buy them.

You can get Suse Linux if you have a CD Writer and it pwnz windows.

A CD writer or Suse Linux? You download Suse Linux and burn it to a cd then partition your drives and install it on the new partition and I saw some cd writers when I was at Office Depot today.
