I have a Proboard and an Invision Board. Which do you like the best?

I only have 4 boards...well 1 of them was deleted so that makes 3.

Subtracting properly is a skill that can serve one well in life. Happy you know how to do it, skoot.

Point is, Proboards suck. They are based on a cumbersome and outaded script. Aren't they still cgi? If so, then they are an even bigger waste since they hog server resources.

Proboards do not suck. I am a member of more Proboards than Invision Boards. I use to be a global moderator for a popular Proboard.

Spongezone Forums is an Invision Board.

Skoot, I doubt any of your boards were popular. Well, they were the only forums on the entire net full of useless spams and cry babies posting about how they want their mommies because they got banned everywhere. You were the main culprit of spammy cries.

*here's some tissue*

PROBOARDS SUX. End of discussion. But, just because you don't agree here's why:

1. still based on OUTDATED scripting
2. plagued with ads
3. slow
4. still cgi--which is inefficent, more unsecure, and a server hog
5. You like them (this alone is reason enuf for me)
6. the layouts are hideous
7. admin functions are sparse
8. organization of forums is lousy
9. IB boards are better to work with because it's easy to design new features with php
10. YOU like them (had to say it twice)

Yea d00d, gotta love Invision Boards. They come with a lot of features standard, plus there are tons of mods/hacks for them. They're quick, and it's really easy to modify the skin to make it look pretty. :original:

skoot, I think you like PBs b/c they are simplistic, kinda like Forums For Dummies.

IB hacks are better. I've installed some very easily--lickety split! And skinning layouts is easy b/c of many skinning programs for IBs.

And You Have 4 Boards not 3. Scooter had 4 other boards but there all gone now.

Me harass you? Hardly. On every forum I can think of you PM ME at least 20 times begging ME to be your friend. You have flooded my inbox here @spongezone asking me to unban you at the 2 forums that I am an admin at. Even after I told you I would rather not discuss that when I'm here posting at this forum. You constantly email me begging me to join your forums and I don't know how you got my email. Mind my own business? I am. You made it my business b/c you wouldn't stop begging and nagging and asking me about stuff I don't want to talk to you about.

You all know he spams b/c you tell him he does and he was banned here once for doing it. I am not trying to pwn anyone. I just want him to leave me alone. If he stops contacting me, I will stop calling him a spammer. Spam is the best word for what he does.

Back on topic. Proboards bases their hack on better programs. Like their RPG stats hack is very limited . You can't really customize it.

PS. Thanks cmonkey. You are always nice & helpful. I get the best computer advice from all of you guys at spongezone! Hey, I got pwned by swell feller. Who cares? LOL. But at least Scooter22 will know that he should leave me the heck alone. :biggrin:
