Has anyone ever read "The Giver"? I love that book. THe average reader would pass over it is a fiction story, but it's deeper.
It's all about communism. The boy, Jonas, lives in what seems to be a utopia world. Each child, when they turn 12, is assigned a job in which they are to work for the rest of their lives. Everything seems perfect. There is no pain or anguish. Jonas takes "pills" to restrict love from his thoughts. Everyone is perfect. Though it seems perfect, there are problems. There is no weather, color, or music. I don't want to say anymore, because many of you probably haven't read it.
Communicm, even in the perfect form, is bad. There is no imagination, no thought. Monotony rules your life, and you must obey a strict set of rules.
