Got a couple of questions...

1. Why can't I mark indivdual forums as read?
2. Why can't I subscribe to individual forums?

I would prefer to be able to mark a Forum as "read" when I'm done reading the posts in that forum, not when I decide I have read everything on the board that I want to read. By the time I finish reading everything, there might be new posts and/or topics in forums I've already read that I would be interested in, but if I mark everything as read, I miss these posts. Of course, I get spoiled by SMF marking a board (same thing as forum here) as read the instant you view it, even if there are still new topics in that board...

Those are just limitations of IPB.
Check out my website, www.spongezone.net... oh, nevermind

Uh... http://www.mkportal.it/forum/index.php?showforum=43 - IPB 2.0.5 (just modified to get it to fit inside the portal there). Looks like it's not the limitations of the system...

Both things work fine here (via URL)... There's just no links for them.

Oldiesmann, try clicking the image next to the left of the forum name in Board  Index.

The smilies aren't working. The clickable smilies show up, but the other ones dont. Is it my browser or a forum problem?

Interesting... So that's how it's done... What about subscribing, and also why don't we have any post icons?

Spiff - that's because all the smilies have weird codes instead of the usual easy to remember ones...

Example:

 - :tounge: instead of :P

Flood Control has been going for like very long. I mean when I tried wearching, it says you know wait til 20 seconds until flood control gets out and stuff. Now it's been like 15 mins and I still get the same message.

The button next to the quick-login thing is a broken link.

There's not much I can do about some of these things.  I don't have any of the IPB 2.0 files, except what is already on the server.

Well, you can copy these missing images from the IPB Default Skin (http://www.spongezone.net/forums/style_images/1) to the 1000 Members Skin (http://www.spongezone.net/forums/style_images/2):

post_snapback.gif
pages_icon.gif

You can get the post icons by downloading the "limited trial" version of IPB from invisionboard.com and unzipping that file (doesn't matter which version, since only the PHP files are encoded). The post icons are in upload/style_images/1/folder_post_icons.

Not sure what to tell you about the emoticons...

When I try to go to the Chat it says:
"The requested URL /cgi-bin/irc/irc.cgi was not found on this server."
What do I do?
