The Nintendo DS came out today.  I looks pretty neat but i'm not all that sure about it's launch lineup. As of now i won't buy one but it looks to be a large step over GBA.

It's pretty fun.  I played Metroid on it yesterday at Best Buy.  The dual screen works better than I thought it would.  FPS's are surprisingly possible.

nope, DS cartridges are about half the size of GBA ones.

I was tempted for a bit to put this on my Christmas list, but then I looked at the games currently available, and only the new Mario game interested me.  And then I looked at the future games scheduled to come out, and it didn't look any more appealing.  I think I'll hold off on purchasing this.
